Space Station: For Game Lovers! The Ultimate Game Bar in Osaka, Owned by a Foreigner

Huh? Is this Japan? At first glance, it looks like you’re in a different country, but this is the Game Bar Space Station in Osaka. The owner who started it isn’t Japanese but he lives in Japan. It’s a very cozy place. Soon, word of it spread and now it’s listed among the “Top 30 Recommended Sights of Japan as Chosen by Foreign Visitors” (and 2nd place in Osaka). It’s even been featured on Japanese TV.

Well, let’s take a look inside!

Naturally, the menu’s in English so it’s not a problem if you don’t know Japanese or can’t speak it. Everyone has fun playing games at the counter while drinking their beers.

4. Serious Competition

Look at their faces… a serious competition’s going on! lol But it’s all good! They’ll soon be friends so it’s a lot of fun!

They have many rare games that aren’t easy to come by even for those living in Japan. Including even the SNES and NES. It’s totally irresistible for a game lover. In fact, they’ve started serializing the anime and manga you all know—with many old ones, too—so this may be a super rare experience with games!

6. International Exchanges

The Space Station serves great as a place for international exchanges. And more and more Japanese customers are going too. So get over there and have some fun!
