Shoyus (soy sauce) today have varieties, such as low-salted ones

Okay, let’s take a look at the soy sauce selection we’ve got here. Soy sauce is called “shoyu” in Japan, and just like the name suggests, it’s made from soy and wheat. I’ve heard people say soy sauces are made from squeezed raw fish juice, but that’s not the case at all so spread the word that it’s a misunderstanding. Shoyus are mainly made of cereal, and they brew the cereal for fermentation, making it a liquid type of seasoning that is one of the main condiments when making Japanese cuisines.

Shoyus today have varieties depending on which dish you want to make, low-salted ones for the people who suffer high-blood pressure, and so on.
