Impressive! 2 Different Goldfish Art: Which Do You Like?
Japanese goldfish art has fascinated the world for the past 1-2 years. The 2 I’m going to show you both have goldfish as their theme but their fundamental components are different. So which one will you like? Let’s take a look and compare them!
1. ART AQUARIUM
ART AQUARIUM is an underwater art exhibit blending fish tanks with a Japanese “Wa” style design, light and reflections. It’s exhibited all over Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Nagano) and growing more famous all the time.
From 5/29 to 8/23 they plan to exhibit it for the first time out of the country in Milan, Italy. I’m really looking forward to knowing how Milan, the origin of design and art, rates Japanese art and the Japanese “Wa” style. Make sure to go see it if you’re in the area!
2. Riusuke Fukahori
This goldfish work was made with the room inverse of ART AQUARIUM. It’s made by a Japanese artist called Riusuke (Ryusuke) Fukahori. He entered the limelight suddenly with his supernatural work that makes them seem so real. He shares his attitude toward life as a Japanese person and you can feel the depth of his meaning.
The art at the very top of this page is by Riusuke Fukahori. If I don’t say anything, it’s hard to tell if it’s real or not!
