One of the coolest places I’ve found is in Akita, in northern Japan. It’s part of an athletic course but it’s affectionately known as the “Ninja training course”. It’s full of obstacles made from wood and rope. It adjoins the Akita Prefectural Central Park and is within walking distance from Akita International University with a very cheap entrance fee (~500 yen, I think). It’ll give you a workout while also being super fun!
