Osaka Rolling Sushi: Is Version 2 on its Way?
Have you heard of the giant sushi that floated down Osaka’s Dotonbori River in October of last year (2015)? We’ve been wondering, will there be a second version? Thus we tried covering the story again. Winters are cold so maybe in spring when it gets warmer…
The 1st giant sushi were a performance as part of the art event “Osaka Canvas 2015”. The plan was for the river to act like a conveyor belt and turn the whole thing into giant conveyor belt sushi! The sushi were about 3m in diameter. There were tuna, egg, shrimp, salmon and cucumber rolls floating down the river.
When will it happen again? Make sure to check back if you’re curious. …Maybe we’ll go out for conveyor belt sushi lol!
